Ch1 Progress Update 2

Yo wazzup,

Stuffs being going along smoothly, needed to take a break for a couple days since I've been putting upwards of 60 hours a week into this for a bit now.

Back at it now though, hopefully a bit more reasonable and I don't allow it to consume me as much. It might sound like shits slowing down but honestly I'd prefer quality over quantity with this. This game's been stirring around in my head for nearly 2 years now and I don't wanna just pump and dump it.

Chapter 1 is getting there, visuals will take forever since like I said, still learning the software. On top of that I'll probably have to do alot of post-processing to make it pop.

The code should be alot smoother now as I've taken my time to learn it, it's probably still going to be a mess but eh it functions.

The script is only at 66% since its more like a general timeline, and I need to actually render out scenes, interactions etc and write natural dialogue. Essentially I've got the general consensus but as the development proceeds I'll be making stuff up to suit it.

Don't worry the entire game isn't improvised, but I do improvisation really well so I gotta add it to my process. Otherwise it'd take years of me writing the entire game down to start real development. Sometimes you gotta dive in.

The sheet says the game is a quarter done but its like one of those fake loading bars, they load the quick stuff first and then take forever for the last 25%, so its not really 25%, but that's just how the statistics work out. Estimating from your guys' perspective I'm realistically only about 5% done :( There's a huge disparity between what you guys see and the resources I need to do this stuff so don't call me lazy! hmph.

Nevertheless, I'm aiming to get chapter 1 released by Christmas so I can enjoy my holidays. Hopefully I can get the first subchapter of 8 done in two weeks time and I'll release it as a proper first build.

and remember, overcum?
